PPG and MLK

  • Reading: As I Lay Dying (for American Literature class)
  • Watching: PPG on Monday!!!!
  • Playing: Sonic and Pacman
  • Eating: Ice Cream!
  • Drinking: Ginger Ale
While I don't know what the Powerpuff Girls and Martin Luther King Jr. have to do with each other, I am PSYCHED none the less for the Powerpuff Girls marathon tomorrow. Bet you guys never knew that I was a fan of PPG, well I was and they still hold a special place in my heart. Buttercup is my favorite, and I am looking forward to some of the great episodes I still remember such as Buttercrush, Mime for a Change, Monkey See Doggie Do, Slumbering With the Enemy, Meet the Beat Alls, Powerpuff Girls Best Rainy Day Adventure Ever, and a few other favorites of mine. Waku waku!!!
Of course, tomorrow is also Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday, and we should all take to heart what said great man strove to achieve, heed his words, and make sure that we are doing what we can to make his dream a reality. And on Tuesday, celebrate the inauguration of Barack Obama! Yippee!
On another note, I received notice from my Japanese (language) teacher that I will be hosting a Japanese exchange student. I was given information and pictures about said student, and I think it couldn't have been a better match. I can't wait until March!

Cool! There was this this like 27 year old Japanese exchande student who came and hung out at my elementary school named Usaku (?). He taught us all how to write our names and about the culture. When he said that they ate horses one of my friends started crying so hard we had to bring her to the nurse. ^^; Then he was all depressed cuz his girlfriend dumped him.

There is not bad thing you were fan of PPG, and Buttercup is very strong, that is good on a girl.
