I think it's about time for a new contest, don't you?
Yeah, I thought so.
So, I've decided to make a new one. The prompt is:
Furbending!!!
What does this term mean you ask? Good question. It involves taking any Avatar: The Last Airbender character (or characters, you're welcome to draw more than one) and giving them animal characteristics, ears and tail, or just full-out lovable furry animal.
Here are some examples on my part:
Aang's and Azula's gangs as chibi critters: [link]

Toph and Sokka as Avatar creature-furries/anthros: [link]

Avatar characters as Redwall animals: [link]

Toph as an alligator (endless randomness and lulz XD ) : [link]

So basically, you can either draw Avatar characters as anthros/furries of real animals or Avatar animals, or as animals themselves. Hopefully this isn't too confusing. Fell free to comment if you have questions.

Now writers, I'm not going to leave you out in the cold. There will be a fanfic division too. For the fanfic, it has to involve a character/characters from avatar and have them interact with some Avatarverse animal. This could be something like Aang and Momo, Toph and a badgermole, Sokka and a penguin, the matchups are endless. It could also be some kind of romantic fic sparked by said animal. Hopefully you get the picture. Once again, feel free to ask questions.

Thar shall be prizes. Who gets what and how many places will be awarded will be determined by how many participants enter.

I have yet to determine the due date, but it will either be before or after I get back from Japan

EDIT: Please note, the furbending must not be used for nude or extremely violent Avatar furries. Please keep the clothing on your furry if it is very close to human like. And no blood n' guts either. I am quite a squeamish squirrel.
