Gah! My team's last LaCrosse game of the season is coming up and it's against a really difficult team that creamed us last year when we played them aka when I was a goalie last year and they scored like 17 goals on me. It was quite a nightmare. And now I'm really freaking out because the last game, we lost and I let in quite a few goals (however there also weren't any referees, it was muddy and wet and raining, and the girls on the other team were just being plain bitches). I thing I've lost my previous goalie badass mojo. Winnie feels like Aang in Nightmares and Daydreams, yes it is escalating to that point. I feel like I'm under the most pressure and I'm letting all the nervousness build up. I'm really spazzing out now, and I could really use some wise or encouraging words.
Any advice, any, would seriously be helpful.
I think I need to do some serious meditation.
Or talk to Toph.

Okay, I'm ready to take on the fire lord...I mean be a badass goalie.
You all know what medicine cards are? It's kinda like tarot, but not quite and they have different animals on them. Well, I needed some advice from my animal spirit buddies, so after mixing them up around face-down I pulled the Badger. Badger told me to be aggressive (no joke, the keyword in the book under badger is aggressiveness). Talk about appropriate timing.
Badger told me to be aggressive and stick with it and be persistent. Time to go INTENSE AGGRESSIVE BADASS GOALIE ON THE OTHER TEAM's ASS!!!!

Yeah, we lost. But that's not to say we didn't try our best.
Understand, the school this opposing team comes from starts their girl's LaCrosse players far earlier than us, like in middle school. Most of the girls on my team just started playing the sport this game season.
And those girls on the other team take really well aimed shots, but I did manage to block a good amount, and a free-position or two.
Final score was 11 to 4, we lost pretty bad, but our JV and Varsity teams also lost pretty bad to this team too.
And it turns out this isn't our last game. We have one more game on Friday, and I've gotta hunch they aren't that good. We can leave on a high note that way.
