...because last time was too long ago. And I left you in suspense about my fingernail which DIDN'T end up falling out.
Moving on....
So I got this nice summer job in which I get to work with the SCA (Student Conservation Association) and get to spend five days a week (the ones that don't begin with "s") from 8AM to 3PM doing outdoor conservation work. Lately, this has included making nature trails, closing old trails, mulching trees (and apparently port-o-lets), removing buckthorn, honeysuckle, multifloral rose and other non-native invasive species from Europe. Our specific group calls ourselves the Narwhals and always has more fun than we prolly should have at work and making too many inside jokes to keep track of (TYDF, 'Watch out for that brick-', the Lopster, Dr. Multifloral, Narhole and many others). On Fridays we get to have and educational field day a.k.a. FIELD TRIP!!! It's been good fun and has kept me occupied.
Of course, when you are going to be a Senior there is one other thing Summers are good for...College Visits. I'm not complaining, they're fun and interesting and all, but I really like to relax during vacation.
In addition I have a mixed-media art class on Saturdays which is interesting. I'm learning all new sorts of methods and mediums to add to my bag of art tricks. Lots of sculptural things and just plain new ideas I've never thought of. It's difficult to take it all in.
AND I have that blasted summer reading to do for school which is just plain annoying! I mean REALLY. What's the point? More kids are going to just not do it than the number of kids who did it and the ones who copy at the last minute combined.

I'm currently training to level up so I can FINALLY get through Victory Road and battle the Elite Four.
Also, I'm trying to work on the Tasui and Co. Origin Comic, but my free time is torn between so many other things after work so....I'm getting there. I finished the script for Tasui's Story at least. I just have to draw it out.

School is almost over, thank the universe. I have one more week. And then Finals. And then the SAT. And then my summer job...but that will be fun. It seems my business continues.
Well, I had an interesting yesterday. I got my finger nabbed on the way out by a car door. It hurt a lot. My class was on our way to an elementary school to read them our children's story books we made. We traveled by van and the guy in the front seat closed the door behind him without bloody looking and that's how my finger got smashed. Fortunately, it isn't broken, but I might lose the finger nail. How pleasant.
But I went to a slumber party that night and had fun. And got addicted to Ouran High School Host Club (the anime). So funny. I highly recommend it.
Soon I will have time to start my comic about the origins of Tasui and his siblings. Starting with ever loving Tasui.

Yeah, I guess I haven't been doing much on here lately, sorry about that. And Tokka week, I had sketches, I just never got around to inking/coloring them and scanning them (which requires going out to the office which is part of my garage to scan, and it is cold outside). But I will still put them up when I finish them, they'll be late, but that's how it is sometimes I suppose.
Besides, it is busy as usual for me with school work and club commitments. Things will get even busier when I host my Japanese student next week, I'll be doing stuff double-time, waking up early, and translating for my parents like nobody's business. But, I'm sure it will be loads of fun too!
I've recently enrolled in an Animation class that I go to every Saturday. This has also been keeping me busy, it's lots and lots of drawing because we're learning old school. And I might make an animation about Tasui. But I might be able to upload some of my work here if I can figure out how DA film works...
And, more exciting news...

Epically awesome birthday gift finally came in the mail. My PPG DVD box set! My sister and I have been enjoying it so much, and watching all of the episodes from seasons 5 and 6 that we had never even heard of (and watching the rock opera episode, which was pretty well done in my opinion).
And I pre-ordered Pokemon Platinum (because I finally have my own Nintendo DS thanks to Pat). Excitement!

So yeah, just writing about what's happening in the eventful life of Winnie B.
